What is your minimum order for patches?
The minimum order is 50 pieces of the same design. However, if you are ordering a patch that is 12" or larger, the minimum order quantity of 25 pieces. The minimum order for chenille patches is 5 pieces.
Is there a set up or digitizing fee?
No. We do not charge for set up or digitizing the design.
How do you determine the size of the patch?
To determine the size of the patch, you measure the width and the height. Then you add the two numbers together and divide by 2. The result is rounded to the nearest 1/2".
What is the turn around time on embroidered patches?
The delivery time for embroidered patches is 3 to 4 weeks after the pre-production sample is approved by the customer.
Can I get quicker delivery?
Rush service is available at an additional charge.
How many thread colors can I use?
The prices shown in the charts on the website include up to 7 thread colors. However, if have more colors in your design, then there is a charge of $0.07 per additional color per patch. For metallic thread add 15% to 25% to base price.
Are the sizes listed in the price list the only sizes I can get or do you offer additional sizes?
The price list on the website includes the most popular sizes. However, the factory can provide embroidered patches as small as 1/2" , which is considered an applique and as large as 17". These additional sizes need to be custom quoted.
What backings are offered on embroidered patches?
There are several backing options. If you are going to sew the patches onto garments, then the standard backing is suitable. If you want to iron on a patch, then you would opt for the heat seal backing. We also offer plastic backing, self-stick backing and velcro style backings.
What is the best way to make sure you are getting the closest colors available to match your design?
It is best if you can provide the Pantone color numbers when submitting your order. The Pantone color numbers are an international color numbering system that allows the factory to match the thread and fabric colors exactly. If you are using standard colors, then this isn't a problem; however, if you are using unusual colors in your design, it is much harder for the factory to match the thread and fabrics to the design.
Can I get a sample patch before the order is processed? I want to make sure the patches are correct before ordering.
We make every effort to get the patches done correctly. The factory will provide a pre-production sample of the patch prior to production of the whole order. The patch is scanned and emailed to you for approval. If you prefer an actual patch prior to production, then we will charge for the digitizing and the samples. The digitizing fee will be refunded once the order is processed. A pre-production sample allows you to check the thread and fabric colors to make sure it is exactly what you want.
I only have a rough design for the patch. Can you help me clean it up?
Yes. If you have a rough sketched design, we can clean it up at no charge. If you need help designing a patch, we can provide you with graphic design services at a nominal fee of $75.
Do you have blank patches?
No, we do not carry blank patches. All are patches are custom designed. We can, however, get you blank patches based on your requested fabric and thread colors. Minimum for blank patches is 50 pieces.
Can I get patches with individual names?
No, we do not personalize individual patches at this time.
